Florida 2025 - IMH Students

Description

Taith Academic Adventure to Florida focusing on International Travel, Tourism, Events, Festivals, Hospitality, Hotels,  and Gastronomy Business Management.

 This will be a 2 week (13 night) trip open to Tourism, Events, Hospitality and Gastronomy students from all year groups who study on campus.

 The exact dates will be price dependent with outbound travel between 20th May and 4th June and returning between 4th and 18th June. 

 There are 20 funded places available for the trip which is subject to interview with international office. Students who meet the Taith Widening Participation Critera will be eligible to recieve additional funding support which will be payable directly to the students.

 The expected trip costs for flights & accommodation in shared rooms will be in the region of £1,000 with an additional cost for attraction tickets.

 Students wishing to go on the trip are therefore required to pay a £750 non-refundable deposit by 27th January to cover flights and accommodation and secure a place. subject to interview.  With funding from Taith students will then be required to make a final payment which is likely to be an additional £750 by 30th April to cover key attraction entry charges. 

 Students may be given the opportunity to book additional excursion tickets prior to departure.

 Students must ensure they have a valid passport that is within 10 years of issue and a valid ESTA  for the trip. They are also advised to ensure they have their own personal travel insurance to cover the trip.
