Evening at Skytree and Skytree Town – We leave the hotel as a group at 5.30pm. £20 entry – pay upon entry

Day 4                   Tokyo Stock Exchange – free entry

Rainbow bridge Observation Deck

This is not a formal observation deck but features two separate pedestrian walkways (North and South) on its lower deck, offering panoramic skyline views of Tokyo Bay, Tokyo Tower and Mount Fuji (on cloudless days).  The bridge itself is a major symbol of Tokyo.

There are numerous places to eat offering views of the illuminated bridge

 

Day 8                   Kamakura – Green Buddha – 1hr 3mins by train £5.80 on Suica card

Day 9                   Mount Fuji – Fuji Five Lakes – World Heritage Centre    

Wed 01/07      (Toyota is building a private city at the foot of Mt Fuji – Woven City – which is a futuristic town where it aims to redefine mobility). 

Return to Tokyo.

 

Osaka                 Check out of Tokyo Hotel by 8.30am for 9.30am Bullet Train to Osaka

Day 11                Travel from Osaka for Tour of Hiroshima

Fri 03/07           Peace Memorial Park and Museum

Miyajima Ferry (Hiroshima Station (take JR Sanyo Line to

Miyajimaguchi Station – 25-minute journey) short walk to pier – Covered by JR travel ticket 

 

Return to Osaka late in the evening

Day 13                Check out of Osaka Hotel by 10am and travel to Kyoto 1hr

Afternoon Visit cultural centres including the Golden Temple

Early evening at Kyoto Tower – admission to observation deck £12
