full student name as passport will be required

10 student who after the interviews with the international office are able to secure funding from Taith will receive some money back, it expected that this will bring down the basic cost to a maximum of £1,200 for the above, hopefully less.

There is also a small number of additional top up payments that students from disadvantage backgrounds / low income can apply for to support the trip.

We will be visiting Vail, Beaver Creek and Aspen as well as Glenwood Springs and Denver. As well as organised visits and meetings with industry.

Students will be given time off (these may or may not be on weekends depending on visits) when you can have some time to relax, explore  or arrange your own excursions linked to academic studies. Students will be responsible for paying for their own meals on the trip, and for all travel and expenses for any private excursions, events, skiing or costs of any extra activities.

If we are staying in a shared house, we will be able to arrange shared catering, but there will also be opportunities to eat out and visit local towns. If we are staying in a hotel breakfast should be provided.

You will be responsible for making your own way to the meeting point at the airport (probably LHR) 3 hours before departure.

You must ensure make sure your passport is valid for 6 months after our return from the trip & this needs to be from the issue date and not the expiry date.

To travel to USA you will need to be fully vaccinated against covid. Please check requirements on FCDO website.

You must have an ESTA for the trip  (we stongly suggest if you haven't got an ESTA Visa Waiver that you apply for this before paying the deposit it does not take long to complete and is usually confirmed within 24 hours. Please check eligibility (ie exemption countries which may include those who have visited Cuba) and secure your ESTA before booking as there is not enough time to apply for a visa.

You are advised to take out full travel insurance at the time of booking with relevant covid cover, that includes winter sports and cancellation cover.

If you wish to ski, snow tube or snow board you are required to wear a helmet in Colorado and you will need to take suitable clothing and gloves.  Afraid there will not be luggage allowance or room in transport to take you own ski's.

Please note that there may be enforced changes to the trip due to availability and weather or other conditions.
